International Transport to Kuwait

Kuwait is one of the Gulf’s important import markets, and there is a constant flow of cargo with Türkiye in construction materials, food, furniture and machinery. As Çevikoğlu Logistics, we carry out transport from our İskenderun base to Kuwait with Habur–Iraq transit road and port-linked RoRo solutions.

The road corridor that crosses Iraq via the Habur border gate to reach Basra and then Kuwait is the route we use most often in Kuwait transport. For port-origin loads, we plan RoRo and container-linked sea-road solutions from the ports of İskenderun and Mersin.

Road and RoRo Routes

The most common solution to Kuwait is the road corridor transiting Iraq (Zakho – Baghdad – Basra) from the Habur border gate. As an alternative, a sea-road combination linked by RoRo and container from the port of İskenderun or Mersin is considered. We determine the most suitable route according to the cost and time priority of the cargo.

Customs and Documentation Support

In Kuwait shipments, the commercial invoice, certificate of origin, transit (T1) documents and necessary conformity papers are important. With our contracted customs brokers we manage the Habur exit and Iraq transit processes in a coordinated manner and prevent delays at border crossings. All shipments are covered by transport insurance.

On the road route, transit time is determined by the in-Iraq crossing and border congestion; in RoRo solutions, the ship schedule is taken as the basis.
