What Is Warehouse and Bonded Warehouse Management?

Warehouse and bonded warehouse management is the entirety of the processes of holding, classifying and preparing goods for shipment in a secure, orderly and traceable manner from the production or import point until they reach the end consumer or sales channel. Thanks to our modern warehouse management system (WMS), every pallet, box or individual product is tracked by barcode; our customers can access real-time stock information at any time. Beyond the standard storage service, we also offer value-added operations such as handling, repackaging, labelling and order preparation under one roof.

Bonded Warehouse Services

Our bonded warehouse model, in which imported goods can be held temporarily without paying customs duties, provides a critical cash-flow advantage especially for companies with high import volumes. Loads can be cleared as needed through partial withdrawal; this significantly reduces the inventory financing cost of companies that import in large batches.

Our proximity to İskenderun Port and neighbouring port areas such as Mersin allows us to manage the container unloading-storage-distribution chain without interruption. Working in coordination with our customs brokers, we complete the entry and exit procedures of the bonded-warehouse regime in full compliance with regulations.

Cross-Dock and Consolidation

In the cross-dock operation, loads are not stored for long; they are routed directly from the incoming vehicle to the outgoing vehicle. This model minimises storage cost and waiting time while maximising shipment speed. It is a preferred method especially for seasonal or promotion-based products, fresh/cold-chain goods and urgent order consolidations.

In our consolidation operations, partial loads coming from different suppliers are brought together in our warehouse facility and shipped most efficiently in a single vehicle. This both lowers the transport cost and optimises the number of delivery points. It offers an important cost advantage especially for importers and distribution centres.

Handling and Inventory Management

Within the scope of our handling service, loads are safely moved with forklift and pallet-truck equipment, placed on shelves, counted and checked. The necessary equipment and expert labour are always kept ready for fragile, heavy or specially sized products. All these operations are recorded with the WMS system; a complete audit trail is created.

In our inventory management processes, we apply common methods such as FIFO (first in, first out) and FEFO (by expiry date) according to the customer’s product type. Thanks to periodic inventory counts and independent verifications, loss/wastage rates are kept far below the sector average. When critical stock levels are reached, the alert system is activated; supply planning can be done in advance.

Order Preparation and Shipment

In our order preparation service, also known as pick & pack, orders coming from our customers’ ERP, WMS or e-commerce platform are integrated into our warehouse management system. Products specific to the order are picked from the shelves, repackaged or labelled if necessary, and made ready for shipment. This process works smoothly for both B2B and B2C orders.

Prepared orders are delivered to the final point with our own distribution fleet or contracted courier firms. Shipment documents, delivery confirmations and returns management are also an integral part of the warehouse service. This integrated structure allows customers to focus only on their sales and production processes and leave the entire logistics operation to us.
