What Is Domestic Road Freight?

Domestic road freight is the safe movement of goods within the borders of Türkiye by truck and TIR fleets. Operating from our central base in İskenderun, Çevikoğlu Lojistik provides both full-truck (FTL) and part-load (LTL) services across a nationwide route network. Our proximity to the strong industrial base of İskenderun — including İsdemir steel plant — and to the regional ports gives us a significant time and cost advantage in regional cargo movements.

For every shipment we select the right vehicle type, optimise the route for distance and traffic conditions, and maintain continuous visibility from loading through to delivery. Our goal is not merely to move cargo but to support our customers supply chains with guaranteed on-time, damage-free delivery.

Nationwide Route Network — Door-to-Door to All 81 Provinces

The backbone of our network connecting all provinces of Türkiye is formed by routes to İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Adana and Gaziantep. Regular, frequent services run to these major industrial and commercial centres with schedules confirmed to customers in advance. Vehicles departing İskenderun use critical road junctions to reach western, northern and central Türkiye rapidly.

For provinces beyond the major hubs, door-to-door delivery is provided through our transfer terminals and partner network. Shipments are accepted down to pallet or carton level, so customers with small volumes do not need a separate logistics solution. This flexibility is especially valuable for customers operating in e-commerce and retail.

Full-Truck (FTL) and Part-Load (LTL) Options

You can choose between two core service models according to your load size and budget. In full-truck (FTL) transport, the vehicle is dedicated solely to your cargo and moves direct from loading address to destination without transhipment — ideal for large, valuable or time-critical loads where transhipment damage and delay risk is eliminated. In part-load (LTL) transport, your cargo is consolidated with other shipments heading to the same terminal and you pay only for the space your goods occupy — an economical solution for small or periodic shippers and SMEs.

Fleet and Sectors Served

Our domestic fleet includes curtainsider trailers, reefer vehicles and lowbed equipment. Curtainsider trailers handle general cargo, palletised goods, textiles and packaged products; reefer vehicles serve temperature-controlled shipments for food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors; lowbed and extendable curtainsider trailers handle steel sections, coil, construction materials and automotive sub-industry loads.

Key sectors we serve: iron and steel / metallurgy, food and beverage, textiles and ready-to-wear, construction materials, automotive sub-industry, and plastics and chemicals. Service is planned with attention to the specific load requirements and delivery sensitivities of each sector.

Insured Transport and Vehicle Tracking

All domestic shipments handled by Çevikoğlu Lojistik are covered by cargo insurance. The policy is issued based on the declared loading value; our operations team manages the entire claims process in the event of damage or loss so that customers experience no financial shortfall. In addition, our GPS-based vehicle tracking system allows the real-time location and estimated arrival time of your shipment to be queried at any point. Proactive notifications at critical delivery milestones support our customers planning processes.

Regular Departure Frequency and Transit Times

Major line services run to fixed weekly departure days; part-load shipments are consolidated at terminal transfer points and dispatched at regular intervals. Average transit times from İskenderun are 1–2 days to İstanbul and Ankara, and 1–2 days to İzmir; these times are confirmed to customers when the departure schedule is communicated. A priority full-truck allocation service is also available for shipments where the delivery date is critical.
